Sis Usang Chinyere: My name is Usang Augustina Chinyere. I'm a 400L student of the department of biochemistry from the prestigious university, University of Ilorin. : I'm an indigene of Ebonyi state. Interviewer: What course did you choose initially? Sis Usang Chinyere: Biochemistry. Interviewer: What if you are not currently studying this course you are studying, what course would you rather be studying? Sis Usang Chinyere: Medicine and Surgery. I actually chose to study Medicine and Surgery at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nsukka. But I had to change the institution and course because of the distance and the fact that I couldn't meet up with the cut off mark there. Bro  Solarin Timothy: Finance Interviewer: Fantastic! Would you mind sharing your admission story with us? Was it your first Jamb and how did you feel when you finally got in? Bro Solarin Timothy: Hmm... I have been to the polytechnic before, Yaba College of Technology to be specific, 2014/2015 academic session and I finished in March 2017, due to a strike and delay from the school management. I wrote another jamb in 2018 which I selected UNILORIN and I had 271 in my jamb and 84% in my post utme and then the Lord did it himself. Interviewer: Was there any point during this wait that you felt like giving up on a University education?

PRAYER

One of the great gifts God gave to man is prayer. A gift that gives us access to our father. A means of communicating our desires to our father. Prayer is mankind exercising dominion over the earth by giving God the freedom to intervene in the earth’s affairs. It shows our total dependence on God. But where have we gotten it wrong?  If Luke 18:1 can say “men ought always to pray, and not to faint", it shows the necessity of prayer in the life of a man. Today people find it hard to pray. Prayer is now tagged to be a time-consuming activity. Some people even say it is meant for ministers of God alone. Some might say let me use my time for something meaningful instead of praying. People now see prayer as a burden. Who has bewitched us? Elijah, for instance, a human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn’t rain, and it didn’t. Not a drop for three and a half years and then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again. If a man can d
