Interviewer: Can we meet you?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: My name is Oni

Oluwajuwon Abimbola. A 500level student of the department of Mechanical Engineering.

Interviewer: What course did you choose initially?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Mechanical Engineering

Interviewer: Would you mind sharing your admission story with us? Was it your first Jamb and how did you feel when you finally got in?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Okay, I gained admission with my first jamb and of course everyone feels happy on gaining admission especially when you are admitted to study a course of your choice.

Interviewer: So, are you single in the Lord or Single and searching or engaged or maybe married?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: I would like to skip this question but well I have a crush.

Interviewer: Give us a brief detail of your educational background. Primary & Secondary.

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: I had my primary education at Noble kiddies nursery and primary school Akure.

(A little something here I repeated twice in my nursery school and my primary school by my own parents because they didn't like that I was an average student in class). So not like I failed the classes but I retook the classes and sense jumped on me to sit tight.  I had my junior secondary school Education at model secondary school Akure, then senior secondary at brilliant international college Akure.

Interviewer: Out of line but were you ever annoyed with your parents for making that decision?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ No, I appreciate that decision.

Interviewer: Were you a prefect in school? You look like someone perfect for headboy or timekeeper.

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Yes senior prefect actually

Interviewer: My guess was right. I should be a prophetπŸ˜‚

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Funfact I was timekeeper in primary 5. Then senior prefect in primary 6

Interviewer: Asides being a fine brother in the Lord, what other activities are your hobbies?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: I enjoy traveling, Reading, cooking (though my noodles still taste like there is plenty salt in it), working on engineering design problems.

Interviewer: I must say that I am fascinated by your personality. What if you are not currently studying this course you are studying, what course would you rather be studying?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Law

Interviewer: Share your experience as a child?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Can you please be a little specific? Many flashes of childhood are running through my head right now.

Interviewer: Would you mind sharing some little details of your childhood that seem to have contributed more to the Bro Juwon we know today?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Okay as a child then, I was more interested in things that challenged me, scared me should be the right word. So mom taught me a valuable lessons to turn my weakness to strength. I am studying engineering right now because as a kid I used to be very afraid of an aircraft so I developed interest in it. Started asking questions ( i ask questions a lot, I have been very curious right from childhood). When I didn't get my answers from people I resorted to books, (well here is where you say kudos to my class teachers who saw this and instigated my parents to but books that were beyond my age for me).

Interviewer: To me, this is quite an interesting childhood.

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: One shocking fact, my childhood addiction to questioning, watching TV and extra lesson, after normal school lessons didn't give room to play football and other male stuffs with the other kids.

Interviewer: So you are not really into football? I used to believe all guys can play football from the womb. That's kind of the stereotype.

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: No I watch the game but I didn't participate until some university freedom and yes all guys can kick the ball but not all guys can play.

Interviewer: What department do you belong to at church and are you currently holding any position?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Okay I am the Drama director for CAC Halleluyah drama unit. I am a Sunday teacher. I am a member of the prayer team.

Interviewer: Do you have a side hustle or work asides schooling? If yes, would you mind telling us about it and how you started?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Yes I have a Side hustle.

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Well first of all I teach Jambites and A-level students. I write contents. I started teaching back from secondary school. Content writing too started after several competition with a friend.

Interviewer: How are you able to juggle School, Fellowship with God, Positions at church and business? That is a lot for anyone to handle. Can you share actionable tips on how you were able to work everything out without one affecting the other?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: All I do is plan the week ahead.. Simple but difficult.  Some weeks the planning works hitch free but some weeks some school assignment butts in, and some days some church meetings jets into the plan but all the same I still stay at the top of my game with the wisdom God gives.

Interviewer: What day do you consider the best and worst day of your life?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: I have not considered this actually because I have not attached any emotions to any particular day but I am looking forward to the day I reach my peak as an academia.

Interviewer: After University Education, what's next?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Work + study

Interviewer: If I ask you to give a shout-out now to people who have influence your journey in Life greatly, who and who would you give a shout-out to?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Shout to Jesus, my parents, shout to CAC Halleluyah Drama members, Shout to Christianah.. shout to Toofine..

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Shout out to a lot of people out there believing and standing strong for Jesus

Interviewer: Who are those you consider your closest pals at Hallelujah Chapel? People you would miss too when you graduate from here

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Closest pal... πŸ€”πŸ€” Solarin Timothy, and some others I am yet to recognize. People I will miss definitely a lot of hallelujah chapel members especially our father, Pastor M.B Ajiroba and his whole family.

Interviewer: What would be your advice to non-believers?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Tomorrow might be too late, accept Jesus' lordship and salvation today.

Interviewer: With the rise of false pastors and funny doctrines, what would you advice believers

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: 2 Peter 1:5-8 KJV… And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [8] For if these things be i in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren j nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Interviewer: What is your favorite Bible verse and why do you like this verse?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Romans 9:18-19 KJV Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of Halleluyah Chapel? Is that impression still intact till now?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: First impression.. I can't actually remember the first impression but the one I have presently is that God have a dwelling place in Halleluyah chapel and He is doing wonders and correcting heads through Pastor M.B Ajiroba and the church authorities

.

Interviewer: Describe daddy Ajiroba in 3 words

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Disciplinarian, Caring and Educated

Interviewer: Do you have a mentor? Who is this person and why did you choose the person as a mentor?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon:  Well every solution provider is my mentor. Ohhhh Dr. Mrs Olanlokun is my mentor. I choose her because of her words and results in the world of engineering and God's kingdom.

Interviewer: She must be an amazing person. Would you like to share your Christian experience?

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Okay I got saved in the year 2015. Since it has been a journey like a rise and fall graph but the scripture has helped me that if the righteous fall seven times he will rise again and scriptures says I am being made the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

Interviewer: So, with that we have come to the end of the interview. Thank you so much for being here with us. We appreciate your time.

Bro Oni Oluwajuwon: Pleasure is mine
