INTERVIEW WITH SIS USANG CHINYERE

Interviewer: Good evening and welcome ma.

Sis Usang Chinyere: Good evening ma

Interviewer: Cross your legs ma and make yourself comfortable.  Can we meet you?

Sis Usang Chinyere: My name is Usang Augustina Chinyere. I'm a 400L student of the department of biochemistry from the prestigious university, University of Ilorin. : I'm an indigene of Ebonyi state.

Interviewer: What course did you choose initially?

Sis Usang Chinyere: Biochemistry.

Interviewer: What if you are not currently studying this course you are studying, what course would you rather be studying?

Sis Usang Chinyere: Medicine and Surgery. I actually chose to study Medicine and Surgery at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nsukka. But I had to change the institution and course because of the distance and the fact that I couldn't meet up with the cut off mark there.

Interviewer: Would you mind sharing your admission story with us? Was it your first Jamb and how did you feel when you finally got in?

Sis Usang Chinyere: Well, I graduated from secondary school 2017, but I couldn't sit for JAMB because of financial issues, so I had to wait till 2018.I wrote SSCE once and I also wrote my JAMB examination once, I was favoured by God.

Interviewer: So, are you single in the Lord or Single and searching or engaged or maybe married? 🤭

Sis Usang Chinyere: I'm single single and entirely single in the Lord 😅🤲

Interviewer: E go soon change. Give us a brief detail of your educational background. Primary & Secondary.

Sis Usang Chinyere: I attended 3 primary schools due to the fact that I had to change location (place of living).  Model N&P Sch., Ikeja, Alpha N&P Sch., Ikeja, Mount Gerizim N&P Sch., Badagry and Juli Comprehensive College, Agege, Lagos State. Due to the fact that I had to change schools (primary school), I repeated a class 🥲. But that did not weigh me down, I moved on with life. I was not a bright student when I was still attending the 1&2 primary schools, I guess that was the reason why I had to repeat a class when I got to the 3rd school. I began to do excellently well while attending the 3rd school.

As for my Secondary school, I attended just one which was Juli Comprehensive College. I did excellently well all through (because of God's Grace and mercy). I was the Head Prefect Girl for my set (Na God still run this one too 😎, no be me do am).

Interviewer: Asides from being a beautiful sister in the Lord, what other activities are your hobbies?

Sis Usang Chinyere: Singing, reading (small o, not too much reaching abeg 😂) and sometimes playing games.

Interviewer: Share your experience as a child with us ma.

Sis Usang Chinyere: I had no issues while being a child until I lost my father at the age of 7. Then I had to go live with my mum's elder sister in Badagry. I'm still thanking God for making me pass through her (my Aunt), if not I wouldn't have been serious with my life. Apart from that, I don't think I went through much difficulties because God intervened.

Interviewer: What was growing up like?

Sis Usang Chinyere: It was a bit tough for my mum, having to cater for 4 children all on her own. The fact that I grew up in the barracks and I never turned wayward despite not having a father figure in my life, has made me realize that I have been purposed by God. I'm just grateful to God for everything.

Interviewer: Do you have a side hustle or work asides from schooling? If yes, would you mind telling us about it and how you started?

Sis Usang Chinyere: No, I don't have any side hustle. I tried to sell perfumes one certain time like that, but I couldn't continue because I felt I wasn't getting any gain, maybe because I just started it for the first time, I don't really know sha. But I stopped. So, I'm not into a business for now.

Interviewer: Would you like to share your Christian experience?

Sis Usang Chinyere: Yes, sure. I don't want to put the blame on the church I attend, but I just have to attend the church because my mum wants me to. There are times I'll not be able to understand what is being said during church service and there won't be any interpreter on ground to help me out, so I just find myself not praying as expected. But I'm still working on that. The past years, I've not been close enough to God because I fall into sin easily. But as for this year, I had made it a covenant with God to build my bond and relationship with Him.

Interviewer: What is your favorite Bible verse and why do you like this verse?

Sis Usang Chinyere: It's Jeremiah 1:19. I love this memory verse because even God Himself assured me that, surely they (the wicked ones) will fight against me, but they will not prevail, because He is with me to deliver and help me in all areas of my life and at all times.

Interviewer: What would be your advice to non-believers?

Sis Usang Chinyere: It's better and will be beneficial for them to accept Christ now before it becomes too late. Because the end time is here already.

Interviewer: With the rise of false pastors and funny doctrines, what would you advise believers?

Sis Usang Chinyere: Pray for discerning spirit. And while doing that, don't just accept what are being said by some so-called pastors, endeavor to pray about it and wait for God's instructions.I had an encounter with one, but I wouldn't want to share it. Thank you.

Interviewer: How did you become a member of CAC HALL CHAPEL?

Sis Usang Chinyere: I was introduced by my former roommate, Sis Bamigboye Priscilla.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of Halleluyah Chapel? Is that impression still intact till now?

Sis Usang Chinyere: I was amazed at the fact that students (youths) are still willing to serve God wholeheartedly and yes, I still have the same impression.

Interviewer: Describe daddy Ajiroba in 3 words.

Sis Usang Chinyere: Godly, Punctual and Caring

Interviewer: Who are those you consider your closest pals at Hallelujah Chapel? People you would miss too when you graduate from here.

Sis Usang Chinyere: The thing is that I've not been close to anyone yet 🥲. But I've known Favour for a while because he happens to be from my faculty.

Interviewer: Do you have a mentor? Who is this person and why did you choose the person as a mentor?

Sis Usang Chinyere: I don't have a mentor o

Interviewer: If I ask you to give a shout-out now to people who have influenced your journey in Life greatly, who and who would you give a shout-out to?

Sis Usang Chinyere: My Mum only.

Interviewer: What day do you consider the best and worst day of your life?

Sis Usang Chinyere: The worse day should be when I lost my dad. And the best day is yet to come I guess. Because I've had so many good (best 🌚) days.

Interviewer: After University Education, what's next?

Sis Usang Chinyere: NYSC… Okay, I'm having this feeling that I'd want to go out for masters God willing.

Interviewer: So, with that, we have come to the end of the interview. Thank you so much for being here with us. We appreciate your time.

Sis Usang Chinyere: Thank you very much for the interview and for your time as well. I truly appreciate it.
