INTERVIEW WITH SIS BLESSING AKANMU

Interviewer: Can we meet you ma?

 Sis Blessing Akanmu: I am Akanmu Blessing Oluwatobiloba



Interviewer: What state are you from?

 Beautiful Akanmu: I am from oyo state

Interviewer: What's your course of study?

 Sis Blessing Akanmu: Linguistics and Nigerian Languages

Interviewer: What course did you choose initially?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Well, it is in two forms because I got admitted through remedial I chose Linguistics in remedial and Mass Communication in Jamb.

Interviewer: Would you mind sharing your admission story with us? Was it your first Jamb and how did you feel when you finally got in?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: I did my first jamb in 2016 and I wasn’t admitted….I sat down for my second jamb in 2017 but didn’t get admission even after meeting up with the cut off marks and all. In 2018, I did remedial and I got admitted through remedial.Though, it was not an easy thing rewriting an exam over and over but in all, God knows best and I thank God for where I am today.

Interviewer: "Was there any point during this wait that you felt like giving up on University education?"

Sis Blessing Akanmu: No ma. There is nothing like giving up in my own dictionary..

Interviewer: So, are you single in the Lord or Single and searching or engaged or maybe married?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: I’m not single

Interviewer: Give us a brief detail of your educational background. Primary & Secondary.

Sis Blessing Akanmu: I attended Victory of God nursery and primary school, Ibadan. I attended Sunshine International High School Oke Bola, Ibadan.

Interviewer: Were you a prefect in school? You look like someone perfect for a head girl.

Sis Blessing Akanmu: No ma

Interviewer: Asides from being a fine sister in the Lord, what other activities are your hobbies?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Gisting, chatting and reading

Interviewer: I must say that I am fascinated by your personality. What if you are not currently studying this course you are studying, what course would you rather be studying?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Mass Communication

Interviewer: Share your experience as a child 😌

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Being the only girl in the family, I always felt and I still feel special because I do get anything I want

Interviewer: Do you have a side hustle or work asides from schooling? If yes, would you mind telling us about it and how you started?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Yes. My brand name is Flakkie Fendy Collections. I sell unisex wears, bags, sneakers, slides, heels and jewelries. I started when I was in 200 level.

Interviewer: What department do you belong to at church and are you currently holding any position?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: I belong to Ushering Unit. No.

Interviewer: How are you able to juggle School, Fellowship with God, Positions at school/church and business? That is a lot for anyone to handle. Can you share actionable tips on how you were able to work everything out without one affecting the other?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Well, it takes the wisdom of God.

Interviewer: Would you like to share your Christian experience?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: I did baptism in the year 2017 and have been receiving the Holy Communion since then. I am a born again.

Interviewer: How has the journey been?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: It has been GOD all the way despite all challenges

Interviewer: What is your favorite Bible verse and why do you like this verse?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Luke 1:37.  It gives me assurance

Interviewer: What would be your advice to non-believers?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: My advice to non-believers is to accept Jesus Christ as their lord and Saviour

Interviewer: With the rise of false pastors and funny doctrines, what would you advise believers?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: They should hold on to Jesus

Interviewer: How did you become a member of CAC HALL CHAPEL?

Interviewer: I had the intention of attending CACYOF when i get to school but didn’t see any one around. On one faithful day, i heard people of God singing CAC Hymn at the back of my hostel then i had to search around to know where the church is. The Evangelism team also came to my hostel.   

Interviewer: Describe daddy Ajiroba in 3 words.

Sis Blessing Akanmu: A disciplinarian, Caring and a Father Indeed

Interviewer: What was your first impression of Halleluyah Chapel? Is that impression still intact till now?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: A body of Christ that is led by the Holy Spirit. Yes, it is still intact.

 Interviewer: Who are those you consider your closest pals at Hallelujah Chapel? People you would miss too when you graduate from here.

Sis Blessing Akanmu: My closest pals in church: Oluwaseun (my roommate), Oloruntoba, ushering unit members, Paulee,  and Bro Feranmi. I will miss all Final year brethren, ushering unit members and the church.

Interviewer: Do you have a mentor? Who is this person and why did you choose the person as a mentor?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: I don’t have a mentor.

Interviewer: After University Education, what's next?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Establish my business fully

Interviewer: If I ask you to give a shout-out now to people who have influenced your journey in Life greatly, who and who would you give a shout-out to?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: Shout out to my parents, my brothers and everyone who have influenced my journey in life greatly.

Interviewer: What day do you consider the best and worst day of your life?

Sis Blessing Akanmu: The best day of my life is the day I got admission into the university. The worst day of my life was the day I got scammed of a huge amount of money.
