The Parable of the Sower.

Matthew 13:1-13 Say this with me I, [your name], am a fertile ground for the seed of God.  Today, I declare that my heart is filled with minerals conditioned to nourish the seeds of the word of God to germinate, yielding a hundredfold. I declare that my heart is receptive to the knowledge of the word of God. The word of God transforms every part of me and my endeavour. Today, my ground is secure against birds that want to steal the seed and beasts that want to trample on my seed. I declare I'm not choked by the cares of life. My heart is straight, focused. As I read and study the word, I'm transformed until I become the word. Thank you, Father, for this is my reality in your word. Praise God!

THERE IS A MAN CALLED JESUS

Image
Galatians 4:1-4, Luke 2:11, 1st Peter 5:7, Matthew 16:14-17 Who is Jesus? Jesus is the son of God and the son of man, who was promised in the old testament as the saviour of mankind. He was born under the law so that everything said concerning him will be fulfilled. He was born in a manger, he started his ministry at the age of (30) thirty and was fully known as the son of God when he went for baptism and the evidence was shown through a dove and the confession of John the Baptist (the forerunner) During Jesus Christ's earthly ministry, his contemporaries thought that he was Elijah or john the baptist reincarnated. ( matt 16:14), while others claimed he was a false prophet ( Luke 7:39) and a friend of sinners. Many worshipped and adored him, while the authorities hated him. Despite these wearying views of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, God's word give us clear and eloquent descriptions of who he hie both past, present, and future scriptures explained that Jesus acting on

Christ's Ambassador

An ambassador is simply known as an official messenger and representative of a country in a foreign country.  An Ambassador is given freedom in a foreign country. They are highly respected to perform activities especially in protecting the interest of their country in the foreign country.  Christians are known to be the ambassador of Christ in this world in which we have been commissioned to present and protect the interest of our country. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation .”  This is the great task committed to us by our country leader Jesus Christ to bring unto his kingdom the people of the world and we cannot afford to ignore this assignment. An ambassador representing his country in a foreign country will never forget his primary assignment in that country so also we must not forget our primary assignment. The foreign count

Acknowledging God; a means of getting direction

To acknowledge has various definition. Some of them are listed below 1. Admitting the knowledge of something or someone; recognizing it as a fact or truth; declaring one's belief in something or someone. 2. To be grateful of. But for this article, we would be looking at acknowledging as expressing recognition of the rights, efforts or authority of someone. What does it mean to direct? In simple terms: point out or show (to somebody) the right course or way; to guide, as by pointing out the way. You might be wondering, how do the definitions listed above relate with the topic? What significance do they have with the topic being explained? For better understanding, we go back to a verse in the Bible. Proverbs 3vs6: in all your ways acknowledge Him (God), and He (God) will make your paths straight . From the passage, we are made to understand that directions come when we acknowledge God. We will be shown the right path to walk in when we recognise the authority of God upon our lives.

NEW LIFE IN CHRIST

" For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." Romans 6:4(ESV) Man has been given a choice to live either of these two lives on earth: The life of the world which ends in death or The New Life in Christ which continues in eternity.  New life in Christ or also called the Life of God was purposely bought and brought to us through the death and Ressurection of Christ Jesus, for as many as belief in Him will this life be given to live therein. It is characterized by the full nature of Christ which some of its expressions include but are not limited to: A. Holiness (Holy Living ) - New life is characterized by holiness which is void of sin and iniquity, consecrated only unto God to dwell in and for His use.  B. Righteousness unto God and man - Another quality that characterizes the new life in Christ is righteousness as it brings it into light and full expressio

And surely I am with you always; A poem

Before His ascension to heaven,  He had a discussion with the disciples,  Teaching them to adhere to all that he has taught.  And finally, he assured them, I am with you always. His word is coming to you today,  In times of tribulations,  He is capable of providing solutions,  Remember, He is with you always, He who works in diverse ways. When it looks all blurry, Though it seem like you want to ri (sink),  He is with you,  Never lose your faith, He will help you.  In the book of Isaiah, It was written;  When you pass through the fire,  You shall not be burned, Neither, shall the flame kindle upon you, So says Messiah.  Whatever season of life it might be, What God says will be,  Always remember He said he will be with thee, And that, is enough.  The presence of Jesus doesn't mean there won't be challenges, but be rest assured, you'll overcome.

Learning from Delilah

Image
One of the most popular bible stories we heard growing up was the story of the powerful judge in Israel, Samson, and the woman who brought about his downfall, Delilah. Often when people want to make a bad example of a lady as a warning to men, they use Delilah as a case study. From the narration in the book of Judges, She was one of Samson's love interests.  Delilah was a beautiful Philistine woman who was well-known for the role she played in taming Samson, the Nazirite with great powers and a real pain to the Philistines at the time.  Following the story in Judges 16, we would notice in verse 5 that The Philistine Lords came to her and offered her great wealth if she were to discover the secret to her husband's strength. With that much amount of money up for grab, Delilah made it her life's goal to get Samson in the hands of the Philistines.  This is the side of the story where we all skip to the end where Samson was finally captured.
