INTERVIEW WITH BRO EMMANUEL SUNDAY

Interviewer: Can we meet you?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: My name is SUNDAY, Emmanuel Odunayo. 400level student studying Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences. University of Ilorin. I'm from Ogun State.



Interviewer: What course did you choose initially?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Marketing

Interviewer: Would you mind sharing your admission story with us? Was it your first Jamb and how did you feel when you finally got in?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Ok. It was not my first JAMB.  I wrote my first jamb year 2013 which led to become a student of The Polytechnic Ibadan, studied marketing as well. Due to some issue I later graduated in the year 2016, Obtain HND FORM THE next year but didn't make it. Though I had a result in my ND which I can use for direct entry to university but my school then didn't release the result In time. So I did my second jamb in the year 2018 and here we are today by the glory of God. I was excited when I gained the admission that was October 16, 2018. Though I knew before that the admission is done deal already

Interviewer: : Was there any point during this wait that you felt like giving up on University education?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Absolutely no. Though during the corona period I came across a book and  it led to be anxious about finishing my education in time

Interviewer: I must say that I am fascinated by your personality. What if you are not currently studying this course you are studying, what course would you rather be studying?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Marketing ni o. Because since I've been a student of marketing during my ND days. Though during secondary school days all I want was accounting but I thank God that I didn't reach the cut off mark in my ND days and that led me to switch to Marketing and since then it's either marketing or marketing 

Interviewer: So, are you single in the Lord or Single and searching or engaged or maybe married?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Neither single nor searching

Interviewer: Give us a brief detail of your educational background. Primary & Secondary.

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: I went to Faith Nursery and Primary School in Ifo, Ogun State.

 Interviewer: Were you a prefect in school? You look like someone perfect for headboy

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Yes by God's grace. Primary School, time Keeper and later became the Headboy. JSS, chapel prefect and SS social prefect.

Interviewer: Asides from being a fine brother in the Lord, what other activities are your hobbies?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: I'm not fine oo … I'm HANDSOME. My hobbies are Singing, dancing, Surfing Internet to get knowledge, Reading books especially that deals with financial freedom and travelling.

Interviewer: Share your experience as a child? 

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: BEING the first child of the family, I enjoyed some privilege though I love football but mummy must not be around. Child experience were not so superb like that because Mummy won't allow you to just move around anyone.

 Interviewer: What department do you belong to at church and are you currently holding any position?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Choir department, Prayer band, Press Crew Unit, Football team, Evangelism Unit, and Interpretation Unit. And I'm privilege to be the Church Choir master.

 Interviewer: Do you have a side hustle or work asides schooling? If yes, would you mind telling us about it and how you started?

  Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Not really a side hustle, gaining some knowledge about Farming during corona virus lockdown. Also before gaining admission then, I learnt shoe making, though I just make some footwear only for me and my younger brother.  Hoping to gain more knowledge on it after bsc. But my side hustle and work is Affiliate Marketing. I'm an Affiliate Marketer. I started during this ASUU strike some month ago.  ( *you can DM me if anyone cares to know about it* )

Interviewer: How are you able to juggle School, Fellowship with God, positions at school/church and business? That is a lot for anyone to handle. Can you share actionable tips on how you were able to work everything out without one affecting the other.

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Like I said, I started my affiliate journey few month ago, it has not been an issue for now. For school and fellowship with God, I've been able to balance stuff with God's help.

Interviewer: What day do you consider the best and worst day of your life?

 Bro Sunday Emmanuel: I laid down and slept; I awoke; for the Lord sustained me. Anytime I wake up to see new day is my best day. That is EVERYDAY. Worse day, I don't think I have any.

Interviewer: After University Education, what's next?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: I always love this type of question

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Business ni ooooooo. 

1. Farming

2. Devoting full time into my Affiliate Marketing and any other things relating to marketing.

3. Hopefully have my own brand for shoe making. God helping.

And engage in any opportunity that will give me *FINANCIAL FREEDOM* and be of help to people around me. After that I might now be thinking of MSC. WELL not in Nigeria sha.

Interviewer: If I ask you to give a shout-out now to people who have influence your journey in Life greatly, who and who would you give a shout-out to?

 Bro Sunday Emmanuel: To God;  ABBA FATHER, Iya Odun and BABA odun, that is, my parents and siblings and everyone that has contributed to my success whether directly or indirectly.

Interviewer: Who are those you consider your closest pals at Hallelujah Chapel? People you would miss too when you graduate from here.

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: If I should start counting Kai, I no go leave here till day break but let me brief sha. My roommate Ojo Samuel, Apeh Emmanuel, Adekunmi Alex, Bro timothy, Sis Olaide, My interviewer(Balogun Temitope) and those I can't mention because of time. Let me keep that till testimony night. Those I will miss ---Halleluyah Voice, Press Crew Units, every other units I belong to and all halleluyah chapel members. 

Interviewer: What would be your advice to non-believers?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Come to the light which is Jesus Christ who has the power to save. 

Interviewer: With the rise of false pastors and funny doctrines, what would you advice believers?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Stick only to God and the word of God. Know whom you believe. 

 Interviewer: What is your favorite Bible verse and why do you like this verse?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. To get anything done is only in Christ Jesus, for by strength (human knowledge, ability etc) shall no man prevail. 

Interviewer: How did you become a member of CAC HALL CHAPEL?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Through my wonderful, beautiful and sister, ONIGBINDE, Oluwadarasimi. We attended the same church back at home and she was the one that hosted me during my first month in Ilorin.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of Halleluyah Chapel? Is that impression still intact till now?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Let me say the duration of the service then. Though I don't complain because I'm used to it. The church is a place to ever be.

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: Father, Disciplinarian, Teacher.

Interviewer: Do you have a mentor? Who is this person and why did you choose the person as a mentor?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: My Parents. Business wise; Toyin Omotoso, Robert Kiyosaki and Anik Singal

Interviewer: Would you like to share your Christian experience?

Bro Sunday Emmanuel: I gave my life to Christ In the year 2014 And since then God has been helping me all the ways.
