Interviewer: Hello, can we meet you?

Sis Adetunji Elizabeth: My name is Adetunji Elizabeth Adedayo. I'm a student of university of Ilorin studying Educational management, 400level.

Interviewer: What course did you choose initially?

Sis Adetunji Elizabeth: Business administration.

Interviewer: Would you mind sharing your admission story with us? Was it your first Jamb and how did you feel when you finally got in?

Sis Adetunji Elizabeth: Actually I got admission through Direct Entry, when I got admitted into the University of Ilorin I was so happy because I have been denied admission three time.  I graduated from secondary school 2015 and in year 2016 I took my first jamb and applied for accounting in Obafemi Awolowo University but was denied admission, the other year again I took jamb and apply again for the same school but no admission.  So in 2018 I heard of IJMB and JUPEB so I did JUPEB in 2018 and applied for Accounting in UNILORIN but was not given admission. So I reapplied in 2019 and applied for Business administration and was finally given admission. I really felt grateful to God because all hope have been lost. But God finally did it.

Interviewer: Was there any point during this wait that you felt like giving up on University education?

Sis Adetunji Elizabeth: Yes ma. I told myself and Mum that after applying for 2019 admission and I'm not admitted, I will not apply to any university or school again, that would be the end of going to higher institution, because I felt really bad and lost all hope because then most of my secondary school friends were already in school, so I felt like the only one who have not gotten admitted.

Interviewer: Share your experience as a child.

Sis Adetunji Elizabeth: Well as a child I was happy with my family. I am the first daughter and child, I always wish to have older siblings. I guess maybe that was because most of my friends then have older siblings and maybe because I don't also like my parents holding me responsible for anything happening in the house. One experience I can never forget was when I do take the milk and Milo bought at home to school. Then I was in primary school but can't remember the class or age. The beverages bought then was always in tin, so I take out of it to school every day till my mum caught me and gave me the beating of my life. Since then I never took anything that is not mine. I'm very happy today for that because if my mum did not correct me then, I know I will later regret it.

Sis Adetunji Elizabeth: I don't even know how to explain this. All I can say is that it's by the help and mercy of God because it has not been an easy task.

Interviewer: Would you like to share your Christian experience?

Sis Adetunji Elizabeth: It's not an easy task to be a Christian because many people believe that as a Christian there are certain things you must do and not do. You must always have faith and hope in God because there will always be times that it will look like your whole world is about to crumble but when you have faith and hope in God all will be well.
