Bro Adebowale Samuel: I’m good and you?

Interviewer: I'm fine as well. Welcome to your interview section. Please sit well and cross your legs.

Bro Adebowale Samuel: Done that ma.

Interviewer: To start with, can we meet you, sir?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: My name is Adebowale Samuel. I’m a 500lvl student of Home economics and food science department, Faculty of Agric.

Interviewer: Tell us more, please. I'd love to know.

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I'm an indigene of ogún state but reside in Lagos state, Ikeja. I love playing, going out and making friends.

Interviewer: What course did you choose initially?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: Well I was given Biochemistry in remedial but my course was later changed to food science.

Interviewer: Would you mind sharing your admission story with us? Was it your first Jamb and how did you feel when you finally got in?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: Okay. I wrote jamb two times, the first was when I was still in secondary school at SS3 before writing WAEC. Then I chose medicine and surgery but my jamb score did not meet the cut off mark so I had to change course to zoology

Interviewer: How did you feel when you got admission?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I was amazed and happy because I never felt I could make it.

Interviewer: Glory to Jesus!!! Was there any point during this wait that you felt like giving up on University education?

Bro Adebowale Samuel:: No, because I felt God was taking me somewhere.

Interviewer: I must say that I am fascinated by your personality. What if you are not currently studying this course you are studying, what course would you rather be studying?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I would have preferred to be studying Biochemistry.

Interviewer: So, are you single in the Lord or Single and searching or engaged or maybe married?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: It's not too early to be searching right😏?

Interviewer: Give us a brief detail of your educational background. Primary & Secondary.

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I started school at an early age so my primary school was fast. I had to stop at Primary 4 because I passed my common entrance and I entered secondary school at the age of 10. I was the smallest in my class so I was always bullied but the amazing thing is that I was given the head boy of my school.

Interviewer: What's the name of the school?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: My primary school was Jossy international school and Secondary school was Remmy Memorial secondary school.

Interviewer: Share your experience as a child.

Bro Adebowale Samuel: At my childhood, I was very stubborn though I still am but under control. I used to play a lot and cause trouble. There was even actually a time I did something to someone's car and I almost had to sleep in a cell for that because where I stay is a military area.

Interviewer: We thank God for your life. Asides from being a fine brother in the Lord, what other activities are your hobbies?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I like singing though I don't have a good voice, playing and learning new things.

Interviewer: What department do you belong to at church and are you currently holding any position?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I belong to the Ushering unit, Drama Unit, Prayer band.  I’m holding the position of the public relations officer (P.R.O) of the Youth Department, also the Assistant chief usher of the ushering unit and the stage director and General Secretary of the Drama Unit.

Interviewer: Do you have a side hustle or work asides schooling? If yes, would you mind telling us about it and how you started?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I am a phone engineer. I started after I finished secondary school when I was not given admission in my first jamb. Though I would have preferred to study photography because I have passion for it.

Interviewer: How are you able to juggle school, fellowship with God, positions at school/church and business? That is a lot for anyone to handle. Can you share actionable tips on how you were able to work everything out without one affecting the other?.

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I thank God for my department, right from 100lvl my time table has always ended at 4pm so that is how I am able to mix school work with church though sometimes some lecturer will intend to go more than 4pm and concerning reading, I have a time table for that which does not collide with church work and in case it does sometimes then I prefer to take the reading to night.

Interviewer: What day do you consider the best and worst day of your life?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: The worst day of my life was when I had a sickness at remedial which almost took my life but to the glory of God I am here today. The best day of my life was when I had admission.

Interviewer: Would you like to share your Christian experience?

Bro Adebowale Samuel I gained Christ fully at 2016 when I went to a fellowship I was invited to and that was when I started speaking in tongues.

Interviewer: How has it been since then?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: It has been an amazing journey so far though it came with a lot of temptations but I thank God that by his grace I was able to overcome

Interviewer: What is your favorite Bible verse and why do you like this verse?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I would say Luke 1:37 and the reason why I liked it was because that verse has been impactful in my life. There are things I thought I could not be able to do but relying on that word I was able to even to the extent that one of my teacher in secondary school gave me a nickname called small but mighty.

Interviewer: What would be your advice to non-believers?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: My advice will be from the book of John 3:16. Whosoever believe in him will have eternal life so the only way to eternal life is through Christ. If non-believers want this life then they need to have a change of heart and acknowledge God as the only one.

Interviewer: With the rise of false pastors and funny beliefs, what would you advice believers?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: They should know their source and always seek his face at all time

Interviewer: If I ask you to give a shout-out now to people who have influenced your journey in Life greatly, who and who would you give a shout-out to?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: First of all, my parents and siblings because they have really influence my life in a way I could not imagine. Secondly, I would say Halleluyah Chapel alumnis from 2017 till date.

Interviewer: How did you become a member of CAC Hallelujah Chapel?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I was invited by an alumni. He was a one time PRO of the church and also close to me. I started attending CAC Halleluyah Chapel even before I was giving admission in remedial.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of Halleluyah Chapel? Is that impression still intact till now?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: It was amazing because that was where I had little boldness to do some things and the impression is still intact

Interviewer: Who are those you consider your closest pals at Hallelujah Chapel? People you would miss too when you graduate from here.

Bro Adebowale Samuel: My roommates who are also members of the church, ushering and drama unit members, Patience, Elijah, Elizabeth and also Balogun Temitope. Though am going to miss all especially final year members.

Interviewer: Describe daddy Ajiroba in 3 words.

Bro Adebowale Samuel: Daddy to youths.

Interviewer: Do you have a mentor? Who is this person and why did you choose the person as a mentor?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: Yẹs, I do. My Dad. I chose him because he always want you to be best at what you do and he is a business oriented man.

Interviewer: After University Education, what's next?

Bro Adebowale Samuel: I would like to go for my masters but before then I would like to start work first.

Interviewer: We're pleased to have you here. Thank you for your time, sir.

Bro Adebowale Samuel: Thank you ma.
